Corporate History
Daphne International Holdings Limited (formerly known as Prime Success International Group Limited) was established in 1987. During its initial stage of operation, Daphne engaged in the original-equipment manufacturing (“OEM”) for clients in the US, Europe and Asia.

In 1990, eyeing on the great potential of the quality ladies’ footwear market in the PRC, the Group established its own brand “DAPHNE” which has rapidly become one of the most well-known brands in the territory. “DAPHNE” was awarded as the “best sales” for consecutive years since 1996. Currently, the brand has two series, D28 and D18, targeting different customer segments aged 20 to 45 and 15 to 30 respectively.

In 1995, the listing on the Main Board of The Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Limited marked a milestone for the Group.

To enhance its business diversification and also capture greater market share, Daphne seeks to gain the distribution rights of international brands, aiming to bringing pluralistic international brands to Chinese consumers. In 2002, the Group firstly obtained the license right of “adidas” in the PRC and now operates specialty stores and counters in various regions of the country.

In 2004, Daphne proactively widened its market share and at the same time, established its second own brand “SHOEBOX” to meet the customer needs of different age groups and both genders. Currently, the Group operates over hundreds of “SHOEBOX” stores and the Group is continuously expanding its sales network.

In 2008, the Group secured the distribution rights of high-end international brands “AREZZO”, “Sofft” and “Born” and global sportswear brand “NIKE” in the PRC.
